Special Topics for the Advanced Beginner

The initial course I developed for the Summer of 2025 was very well received. I am going to follow it with a new defense series. The topics will help answer questions that you always face on defense.

Think about the dilemmas you face on defense. What do I lead? 4th best, top of touching honors, top of a sequence or my singleton?

Perhaps I should lead a trump.  When and why should I do that?

How about the auction? When should I do a sacrifice bid?

When should we double them for penalty?

The cost is $560 ($585 by credit card) for eight lessons and includes many features.

• Eight two-hour classes, in person at Honors Bridge Club and simultaneously live streamed, allowing you to take classes from anywhere.

* Copies of the hands played with detailed explanations will be provided.

* Extensive class notes so you won’t need to write anything down.

The material is geared towards advanced beginners. It is appropriate for people who have completed the Beginner program, have participated in Supervised Play, and possibly some duplicate.

In person and live streamed Tuesdays 1:00 – 3:00 PM  Oct 28, Nov 4, 11, 18, 25, Dec 2, 9 & 16.

It is not necessary for you to have taken any of the other classes I offer to take this course.
