In this course, you will learn Stayman and Jacoby Transfers, and the meaning of 1NT responses by your partner.
New for 2026, the Immersive Bridge Series consists of three 8-week courses with four additional hours of practice than in the prior courses. The goal is for you to become more comfortable learning and using the techniques you will learn. This is important whether you want to play competitive bridge or just play on the porch in the Hamptons with your friends.
Immersive Bridge Series 4, the final in the Beginner program, is an eight-lesson course taught once a week. It is held in person and simultaneously live streamed.
Schedule: Thursdays 9:30 - 11:30 AM ET Feb 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, (skip March 19,) March 26 & April 2.
Immersive Bridge courses include:
* Access to my recordings for every class (no need to worry if you need to miss any.)
* Class notes (so you don't have to feverishly write down everything I say.)
* Copies of the hands we play with explanations.
* Reinforcing exercises.
* Eight highly interactive 2-hour lessons. Plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
* Link allowing you to replay the hands after class. This is one of the most popular features, as the repetition is one of the keys to absorbing the material.
* This In-person course will also be simultaneously live streamed allowing for remote participation. Attend online whenever you wish.
* Complementary continental breakfast, coffee, tea and other soft drinks as well as snacks.
Once you have completed the Beginner Series, you will be ready to get out there and play in novice level games and practice what you’ve learned in Supervised Play at your local club. You will also be ready for the next phase of your journey, Just Beyond Beginner Bridge, a series of courses that will take you to the next level.

Cancellation policy:
Given the limited space in each class, we encourage you to register as far in advance as possible. However, we understand that sometimes schedules change. Your payment will be refunded if you withdraw at least 3 days before the class begins. The $270 course fee is not refundable after the first class, but we will allow you to apply the payment to a future Beginner course.
